Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SESH’N — operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] — collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to privacy@seshnstudios.com.

• When you create an account: your name, email address, and a password (stored only in hashed form).
• If you host: a short host bio, and for each listing the space’s name, description, photos, category, capacity, pricing and availability, house rules, and its location — including the exact address and any access, arrival, parking, or load-in instructions you add.
• When you book: the date and time, the number of guests, and any note you include.
• When you communicate: the messages you send, the reviews you write (a rating and a comment), and any report you submit.

As you use the marketplace, records are created for your bookings and their status, for payments and payouts (see below), for the notifications you receive, and for internal logs used for security and administration.

For security and abuse prevention we also keep short-lived technical records, such as rate-limiting counters.

Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe. When you pay, your card details are entered directly with Stripe — SESH’N does not receive or store your card number. SESH’N stores only transaction records such as amounts, currency, status, and Stripe’s reference identifiers.

SESH’N does not currently save reusable payment methods on your behalf. If you host, Stripe collects the information needed to verify your identity and pay you, under Stripe’s own privacy policy.

The location information in the product is about the spaces Hosts list, not about your device. A listing’s public page shows only an approximate location; the exact address and access instructions are shared with a Renter after that Renter’s booking is confirmed.

SESH’N does not collect your device’s GPS location. Maps on the site are loaded from a third-party map provider by your browser, and address look-ups use a third-party geocoding service that receives only the address text being looked up.

• To operate the marketplace: create and manage accounts and listings, process bookings, payments, and payouts, and coordinate sessions between Hosts and Renters.
• To communicate with you: booking updates and other notifications, shown in the app and, where email is configured, sent by email.
• For safety and security: moderation, abuse prevention (such as rate limiting), and enforcing our Terms of Service.

SESH’N does not sell your personal information.

Between Hosts and Renters. When a booking is confirmed, the details needed to carry out the session are shared between the two parties — for example, the Renter’s name and the space’s exact address and access instructions.

With service providers that help run SESH’N:

• Stripe — payment processing and Host payouts, including identity verification for Hosts.
• Our hosting provider — running the website; uploaded studio photos are stored in its file-storage service and served from public web addresses.
• A geocoding provider — turning a listing’s address into map coordinates; it receives the address text only.
• An email delivery provider — sending transactional email such as booking, message, and account notifications; a message notification may include a short preview of the message content.
• Map-tile providers — map images loaded directly by your browser when you view a map.

For legal and safety reasons. SESH’N may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.

SESH’N uses cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in. It does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and there is currently no cookie-consent banner.

Some content is public by design. Published listings — including their photos, description, house rules, and approximate location — and the reviews written about them are visible to anyone.

Studio photos are stored at public web addresses. A photo may remain reachable at its stored address for a time after a listing is retired or an account is closed.

When you close your account, it is deactivated rather than erased: SESH’N retains certain information — such as your name, email, and your booking and transaction history — for record-keeping, financial, and legal reasons.

Booking, payment, payout, message, notification, and administrative records are kept as part of the marketplace’s records. Automated deletion currently applies only to short-lived items such as expired rate-limit counters and used or expired password-reset tokens.

You can update your host bio, and you can close your account (which requires confirming and re-entering your password, and is not available while you have active bookings).

SESH’N does not currently offer a self-service tool to export your data or to request full deletion (erasure). If you have a request about your information, contact privacy@seshnstudios.com.

SESH’N protects your information with measures including hashed passwords, access controls that limit data to your own account, session controls that can end active sessions, verification of payment webhooks, rate limiting, and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No online service can be completely secure.

SESH’N is intended for adults aged 18 and older, and account registration requires meeting the minimum age of 18.

This section is reserved for any disclosures required for California residents.

SESH’N may update this policy. When we do, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
